Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my attendance falls below 75%?
If your attendance drops below 75%, colleges place you on the detention list. Depending on whether your attendance is between 65% and 74%, you may apply for condonation with valid medical proof or OD certificates after paying a condonation fine. Below 65%, detention is usually mandatory without exception.
Does attending an extra class increase percentage faster than bunking drops it?
No. Bunking drops your percentage much faster because total increases while present stays flat. Recovering requires attending 3 to 4 classes consecutively for every 1 class bunked when close to the 75% boundary.
